RAZZLE

Lasting Impact

Razzle joined me at 14 weeks old from Neoma Dobermans out of Auburn, Alabama.  I chose this beautiful puppy after a long search, looking for the perfect match into my breeding program and the perfect temperament.  She is proving to be incredibly intelligent, sweet, loving, and knows how to let her needs be known, sometimes being obnoxious, but what puppy isn’t.  I look forward to adding her energies into my household.  She holds her own with her friends and I expect her to love the show ring, so she says!

I knew she belonged here, and I am forever grateful to Hope Jones for allowing me to bring her best puppy home to Texas.  She has already begun enjoying clicker training, raw diet, and has come to us unvaccinated, the most wonderful thing that a natural rearing breeder can hope for.  She has an amazing immune system that I hope will pass on to her offspring.  Thank you for trusting us, Hope.  I will do right by her!

She will spend her life with me fulfilling the things that I find she enjoys.  She will be offered many options in showing, and performance.  She will also be fully health screened per Breeder of Merit Recommendations and Requirements, with all results published to the OFA.

NATURAL REARING

Why do I choose to do this?

The simple answer is I believe that real food – food that approximates the authentic canine diet – is healthier than standard store-bought kibble. And by treating common issues with natural remedies and thereby avoiding over-exposure to chemicals, dogs may stand a better chance at sustained health.

Heike Dobermans is a Natural Rearing Breeder.  At the time of writing, I am not currently credentialed with NRBA, but working toward being so. What are the benefits of natural rearing?  It means that I first and foremost feed a species-specific natural diet including meat, bone, organ, and appropriate supplements.  I also employ no chemicals or poisons, use only homeopathic vaccinations and methods to boost immunity, use energy and holistic healing methods supported by kinesiology and flower essences, train using "clicker" or positive reinforcement, and encourage my clients to do the same.

WHY ARE NR PUPPIES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TRADITIONALLY RAISED PUPPIES?

It’s no lie, the price tag on a properly raised Naturally Reared puppy can be a surprise.   It's not just the stud fees, vet care, and health screens that go into a mature breeding program.  That's a given in my book.  It's about having an incredible nursery equipped with fantastic early development activities and all the work done to train them, desensitize them to noises and expose them to lots of environmental stimulus before they leave here.

I invest in organic, top quality raw meat prey model diet including fresh raw goat milk and locally sourced foods.  I buy amazing supports including literally hundreds of Young Living Essential oils and supplements, NingXia Red antioxidant juice, high quality probiotics, raw green tripe, homeopathics for immune systems, EFA's without heavy metals (hard to find and expensive, trust me), and I use nothing in my house to clean except medical grade essential oil infused cleaning products.  I purchase natural alternatives to harmful synthetic antibiotics and steroids.  They are not cheap.

But why do our expenses matter to you?  You just want a healthy puppy, right?  It's the NATURAL REARING that is the key to all of this, and it is not cheap to maintain in a breeding program or in a nursery.  My goal is to save you money on the back end.  I want to keep you out of the vet's office and help you get your Doberman to twice the normal life span with vigor and vitality.  That means that our puppies cost more to raise and therefore cost more to buy.  I believe that this program is worth every penny that I spend to make it happen and I hope that you will see the results over time.

Naturally reared Dobermans are difficult to come by and thus are in high demand.  My natural rearing breeding of Dobermans are intended are for show, performance and service work but most importantly are apart of your family.

True naturally reared Dobermans are very difficult to come by as it takes enormous commitment and resources to run a breeding program strictly focused on goals of performance, longevity and vitality.  Breeding contracts are required, and dogs must be involved in events that show their ability to work as designed. Because we breed rarely, every naturally reared puppy is critical to the health of our beloved Doberman breed.  We do not offer dogs into homes who plan to spay or neuter.  Please fill out as completely as possible.  We look forward to receiving your application!

PRICING:

Lots of folks want pricing before submitting a puppy application.  Natural rearing is a very expensive proposition for any breeder.  After all the "normal" costs incurred with a high-end breeding program, we have had to calculate in the cost of high-quality raw diet, lots of supplements, extensive health screening, natural cleaners, homeopathics, medical grade essential oils, antioxidants, down time from work to dedicate to their care and training, Puppy Culture, and early development work. I wish I could give these guys to deserving homes, but to stay solvent, I have to charge enough to continue with this mission. All puppies are the same price, $3,500.  Heike Dobermans is a legitimate LLC business.  All income is reported, including cash payments.  We collect sales tax as required by Texas law.  I can give you my opinions if you wish to show in conformation or a performance sport in the future, but there is no difference in price amongst those who might be more suited for championship competition and others who might be better suited as pets or performance candidates. Some females are sold on a co-own with a puppy back contract so that we can keep the program going. Males are sold with rights to breed them back to any bitch that we own or co-own without charge.

I don't do this to get rich. I do it to contribute to longevity and vitality of the breed and have lasting relationships with those who take Heike puppies home. I will be there for you as long as I draw breath.
