Welcome to Heike Transport

From the Heart

About:

Bringing home a new puppy sometimes is difficult when you are in a different state from your breeder.  That’s where I come in.  I’m a Transport Mom to your new family member.

Transition is hard enough when leaving the breeder and all they have ever known.  I work with the breeder to ensure this precious cargo is ready for transport to their fur-ever home.  If the breeder is local, I coordinate with them to get to know your puppy ahead of time.

Once in my possession, I take pictures to send them to you of our journey from the breeder’s home to yours.  Additionally, when on a plane I use Young Living essential oils like Peace & Calming to keep your baby stress free.

Upon arrival at the final destination, I will meet you in the baggage claim area.  We will not leave the airport as your puppy is my first concern.  Your puppy will also stay in the carrier until we meet as I don’t want any harm to come their way.

FAQ:

When should I contact Heike Transport for transportation cost and availability?  Once you have contacted the breeder and put a deposit down on your puppy.  The sooner the better as airfare is expensive and I want to find the least expensive way to bring your puppy to you.  I will research flights and accommodations if needed and prepare a quote for you.

Is there a weight limit for puppies to ride in the cabin?  Yes, puppies up to 21 lbs are permitted in a Sherpa (soft sided carrier) under the seat.

Do I need to provide a Sherpa for transport?  If you already have one, you are more than welcome to send it to me to use.  If not, I have one available to rent.  You will need to bring something with you to transport your puppy from the airport to your home.  Puppies shouldn’t be unattended in your vehicle.
